Final Friday Mom and Baby Acupuncture
Every Last Friday @ 11am
Join Path of Wellness Acupuncture at MAMs Co-Op for an early afternoon of healing and bonding for mamas and newborns at our mommy and me community acupuncture event! Having a newborn is challenging and it can be difficult for mamas to get the self-care they need to be the best they can be for themselves and their families. Acupuncture is a fantastic tool that relaxes the nervous system, promoting a deep sense of calm, allowing the body to rejuvenate and heal itself: the perfect remedy for a mama with a new baby! With mommy and me community acupuncture, you don’t have to sacrifice your self care for time with your baby: you can do both at the same time! Bring your non-mobile baby, get cozy on a yoga mat with bolsters and yoga props in the beautiful group space at MAMs, and we will give you an acupuncture treatment while you hold or nurse your baby. Not only will you relax and experience the benefits of acupuncture, but your baby will get to experience them as well. As you rest with the acupuncture needles, your baby soaks up all of the calm healing vibes through you, for a truly wonderful bonding experience.
For these treatments, we only perform acupuncture on the ears, allowing mom’s arms and legs to be free to care for baby as needed (baby does not receive any acupuncture needles). After about 20-30 minutes of relaxation in a community space with other mamas, we will top off your treatment by serving you a cup of Chinese herbal tea to help aid in postpartum recovery.
This event will run from 11:00am-1:00pm. Please arrive no later than 12:30pm to ensure you get enough time to enjoy your treatment. Feel free to bring your own yoga mat or a fold up chair if that is more comfortable for you. The fee is $25, all methods of payment accepted.
Come as you are and get some much needed self care, no appointment necessary. Just show up and we’ll take care of the rest.
(Pregnant moms-to-be in 2nd and 3rd trimesters are welcome!
This event is hosted by Nicole Berrios, licensed acupuncturist, Chinese herbalist and owner of Path of Wellness Acupuncture. She has a family acupuncture practice in Mesa where she specializes in pediatrics and prenatal and postpartum wellness for moms, dads and support partners. She is passionate about empowering families with the tools they need to be healthy and stay healthy, naturally. For more information, check out https://www.pathofwellnessacu.com.

Full Moon Red Tent
Every Full Moon, doors open at 7p, circle starts at 7:30p
The Full Moon Red Tent is a way for women to take our inner momentum, that feeling like the time is now and come forward with everything we are as women and give us a place to incubate, dream, slow down, and not have an agenda or plan. And simultaneously, much is waiting for us in this not knowing place but we need to make time for the empty space. It is also not only empty space but woman space where we can share stories, laughter, songs, food and honor our unique cycles that we experience each month in our bleeding time and in our going through menopause and the many years leading up to it. Please watch this short video about Red Tents if you are unfamiliar with the gatherings: https://youtu.be/SQijq5Swd7A
We will sit in a safe circle to share. We will have activities, if you choose to participate. We will have a lot of space to just be.
This is a gift event. If you have any gifts to share we invite you to bring them. Henna, art, food, drink, items for the alter, any healing modality, all gifts are welcome or you can leave a donation for future events.
